Sandi Everlove Joins Enlearn as Chief Learning Officer

Everlove brings years of experience as an award-winning classroom teacher and advocate for underserved students to the Enlearn team.

of personalized learning to classrooms by making the entire learning ecosystem adaptive, announces the appointment of Sandi Everlove to its management team as Chief Learning Officer.

Prior to joining Enlearn, Sandi was the Chief Learning Officer at Washington STEM. In this role, she led efforts to generate and share knowledge of innovation in STEM teaching and learning. In addition to working with funded partners to document insights and lessons learned, Sandi identified and promoted promising practices from around the state, the nation, and internationally. In 2000, Sandi founded TeachFirst where she led the development of innovative multimedia and face-to-face tools and resources to support teacher learning. This included producing hundreds of online videos that demonstrated research-based instructional strategies, facilitator guides, discussion protocols, leadership resources, and student shadow protocols.

“Sandi brings her longtime, deep experience as both a classroom teacher and advocate for underserved students to Enlearn, integrating the critical role of the teacher throughout everything we do,” says CEO John Mullin. “The work she has accomplished as an educator and champion for teachers and students alike for the last 25 years enriches our partnerships, our development process and our adaptive learning platform. A passionate advocate for children, Sandi brings on-the-ground experience to her work at Enlearn (https://www.enlearn.org). She is an award-winning high school chemistry teacher with Seattle Public Schools and received the Washington State Golden Apple Award in 1998. Through a U.S. Department of Education grant, she wrote and piloted a number of innovative science courses including an award-winning high school science ethics class.

When asked why Sandi feels Enlearn is a fit for her, the response came swiftly, “That’s easy. I want to change the world by making teaching and learning better for all students. We can make that happen here.”
